A consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Munich office, Birgitta Vogtt is a member of the firm’s Leadership Advisory Services Practice. For the past 20 years, she has focused on recruiting, assessing and developing talent equity. As an expert in Talent Management, Birgitta helps organizations gain deeper understanding of their executives’ strengths and areas for growth, evaluating individuals and teams across all industry sectors to ensure that clients have the right people in the right roles to achieve their goals. She helps companies gain greater insight into the skills, motivations and leadership potential of executives, providing guidance on how to best develop executive talent.

Talent Development, Assessment and Executive Search Expert

  • Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Birgitta successfully built up her own business focusing on executive search, management audits and executive coaching.
  • Earlier, she worked with McKinsey’s German office for more than 18 years in various leadership roles in professional development. For example, as head of career services, she designed, delivered and supervised the coaching activities for exiting McKinsey consultants. She also pioneered a new professional development role for the German office and managed the career decision process (e.g. evaluation process, performance feedback, assignment) for more than 300 consultants.

Birgitta earned a diploma in English translation from Dolmetscher Institut in Düsseldorf. She holds several coaching certificates including ICF accreditation, and is licensed for psychometric tools including MBTI, OPQ and Reiss Profile. She is fluent in English and German, and conversational in French.
