Based in Frankfurt, Ulla Wiegandt leads Spencer Stuart’s Professional & IT Services Practice in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and is a member of the Private Equity Practice. She specializes in recruiting partners, practice or sector leaders, and senior functional leaders for strategy consulting, management consulting and other professional service firms. In addition, she helps corporate clients to recruit chief strategy officers and M&A and audit leaders, as well as operating partners for Private Equity clients.

With 15 years of search experience in the professional services and industrial sectors, Ulla brings a wealth of experience to her executive search and leadership consulting work. During her time with Spencer Stuart, Ulla completed a deployment to South Africa, where she worked as a generalist on pan-African client assignments.

Before joining Spencer Stuart in 2007, Ulla worked for a consulting boutique specializing in strategic foresight projects, including innovation, scenario planning and trend reporting, for large industrial, telecommunication and financial services corporations. She began her career in the communications and media sector.
Ulla earned a Master of Arts degree in cultural sciences from the Leuphana University in Lüneburg. Having lived and worked in France and South Africa, Ulla is fluent in English and French in addition to her native German.
