Tanja Svjetlanovic is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Frankfurt office and a valued member of the firm’s Industrial, Sales and Marketing as well as the Legal, Compliance & Government Affairs practices. Next to her long-term executive search experience, Tanja has also worked within leadership advisory services.
Tanja focuses on searches in the industrial space including automotive, industrial technology, machinery and equipment, electrical products and electronics industries. Her functional expertise includes general management, sales and marketing, operations & supply chain as well as engineering and legal and HR roles.
Executive search and consulting expertise
- Tanja joined Spencer Stuart in 2015 and has been responsible for leading the German research team from 2017 to 2019. Since 2022, she leads the German Industrial Practice.
- Tanja brings fifteen years of experience in international leadership consulting, focusing on executive search and recruiting of senior-level general management and functional executives, next to her experience in delivering assessments and leadership advisory work. Tanja has served large global corporations as well as midsized, family-run businesses and private equity-backed companies.
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Tanja was a consultant & head of research at a small European executive search company based in Vienna, where she was covering industrial, consumer and IT assignments. While studying, Tanja worked as research assistant at the University of Law in Vienna.
Tanja holds a diploma (Magister) in Philosophy as well as a B.Sc. in Communication studies from the University of Vienna, where she also studied Law. Additionally, she obtained an Executive MBA from Kellogg-WHU. Besides her native German and Serbian/Croatian, she is fluent in English, has good knowledge of French as well as basic knowledge of Russian.
