Rune Jörgensen is responsible for the Technology, Media & Telecommunications and Digital practices in the Nordics. He also leads the firm’s Telecommunications Practice in Europe, the Middle East & Africa, focusing on operators and equipment vendors in the region. Rune specializes in senior executive and non-executive director searches and assessments. He previously led the Copenhagen office.
Experience in technology and across industries
- Rune has more than 15 years of executive search experience; most recently, he was a consultant in a boutique search firm, where he specialised in the technology sector.
- He also spent three years with another global executive search firm in Copenhagen, serving on its technology team and as a generalist focusing on the Nordic region.
- Rune began his career working on projects for well-renowned international broadsheets and spent time working in Malaysia, Australia and parts of Africa for a Spanish media company in Madrid.
He holds a Master of Science in economics from the University of Copenhagen and a Graduate Diploma in management from the Copenhagen Business School. Rune is a native Danish and Swedish speaker and is also fluent in English and Italian.
