Based in New Delhi, Prateek Goel is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Healthcare Practice focusing on the India market. He brings more than 15 years of consulting and industry experience to the firm, specializing in senior-level recruiting across all functions of the healthcare value chain for pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, service providers, healthcare technology and health insurance companies.
Healthcare executive search, consulting and industry expertise
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Prateek was a principal with another leading global executive search firm and led its healthcare and life sciences practice in India. He conducted senior-level searches for multinational and Indian companies across the sub-sectors of the healthcare industry and recruited for roles including country heads; marketing and strategy officers; research & development leaders; government, regulatory, and medical affairs officials; and other C-level leaders in HR, finance, technology, and legal functions.
- Previously, Prateek was a director with Deloitte’s strategy and operations management consulting practice, and also held a position as an engagement manager with IMS Health’s consulting group. In his consulting roles, he specialized in growth, expansion, innovation, market access, commercial due diligence and performance improvement projects for healthcare companies. Prateek also worked as assistant vice president with Apollo Munich Health Insurance, where he handled strategy, underwriting and operations functions.
- Prateek has been involved with the healthcare chapters of various industry associations, such as the Confederation of Indian Industry, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the American Chamber of Commerce and NatHealth.
Prateek holds an M.B.A. from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a B. Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He is also a fellow of the U.S.-based Academy of Healthcare Management, and he speaks English and Hindi.
