Meg Ambrose, a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Sydney office, has more than 25 years of global experience identifying and developing high-performing senior executives for top companies in private equity and technology, as well as senior technology leaders across industries. Passionate about the technology sector, Meg leads the firm's Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice in APAC and is a member of the Digital and Technology Officer practices. Her expertise and client work span the United States, Japan, Australia and Canada.
Global technology and private equity expert
- Before joining Spencer Stuart, Meg was co-owner and managing partner of an executive search firm in San Francisco and Australia, working with private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
- Earlier, Meg spent more than 10 years as a partner at a global executive recruiting firm. She held various leadership roles, culminating as regional managing partner for the global technology and services practice in Asia Pacific. She also served as the managing partner of the Tokyo office for five years, working extensively with private equity clients.
- Meg began her career at a technology-focused recruiting firm in New York, during the internet boom in the mid to late 1990s.
Meg earned her Bachelor of Arts from Queensland University in Australia, and her Master's degree from Hiroshima University in Japan.
