- Within the firm’s Industrial Practice, Mariano focuses on senior executive roles for automotive, equipment, transportation, shipping and third-party logistics companies. As leader of the Supply Chain Practice, he specializes in recruiting senior executives in procurement, manufacturing and operations, logistics and distribution, customer service as well as enterprise supply chain management roles across industries.
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Mariano was a partner with another international executive search firm where he led the European supply chain center of excellence. In that role, he executed a vast array of cross-industry supply chain, manufacturing and procurement searches for various international clients across industrial, consumer and other industries.
- Earlier, Mariano was a director at Booz Allen & Hamilton in Paris, where he managed strategy, supply chain and operations projects. His work spanned project sales, execution, team management and change management for clients across the automotive, energy, chemical, industrial and industrial process sectors. He started his career as trader at YPF, an energy exploration and production company based in Argentina.
Mariano has an M.B.A. from INSEAD and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires. He speaks Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese.
