Based in the Middle East, Marco Boni provides advisory and board services to multinational and regional companies. He specialises in recruiting chief executive officers and other senior-level executives in key corporate roles. As an active member of Spencer Stuart’s Board Practice, Marco specialises in board advisory mandates, including non-executive board placements. He is also a member of the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Consumer, Financial Services and Industrial practices. Marco led the establishment of Spencer Stuart’s presence in the region in 2007 and oversaw its growth and positioning in the Middle East market. Marco also served as a member of Spencer Stuart's global board of directors.

- Marco is experienced in board advisory work, recruiting chairmen and nonexecutive directors, as well as conducting board evaluations.
- He spent seven years working in Spencer Stuart’s Johannesburg office, where he recruited senior executives across a broad range of industries for leading global corporate clients in South Africa, continental Africa and the Middle East.
- Marco has participated in several large Executive Assessment projects across the Middle East and brings a rich perspective of assessing senior executives in the region.
- Marco brings extensive international experience to his role, having spent his early career in the diplomatic service, which included postings to Australia, Africa and the Middle East. Marco also served as the official media spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for South Africa.
Marco is a graduate of the University of Cape Town and the University of Stellenbosch. He speaks English, Italian, French and Afrikaans.
