Based in the firm’s Stamford office, Adam Kovach co-leads Spencer Stuart’s global Private Equity Practice and leads the practice in North America. He is also member of the Financial Officer Practice. From an industry perspective, he focuses on the technology, consumer, and the communications and media sectors. During his tenure with Spencer Stuart, Adam has helped to place more than 600 executives in leading companies around the world.

- Adam has extensive experience working with public and private companies, helping to recruit top executives for companies such as Facebook, Spotify, Avid, Pinterest, Click Software, Pegasystems, EPAM, Eventbrite and dozens of mid-cap technology, consumer, media and industrial companies. He also has deep experience helping private equity firms such as Genstar Capital, Berkshire Partners, KKR, Hellman and Friedman, Goldman Sachs, Abry, Providence Equity, Carlyle, Apollo and TPG on critical searches within the firms and their portfolio companies.
- Adam also helps companies recruit audit chairs and filling key direct report roles to the CFO including corporate controllers, chief accounting officers, tax leaders and divisional finance executives.
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Adam worked as a communications consultant for Watson Wyatt in its business integration and communications practice. Before that, he was the operations manager for an industry-leading staffing and management search firm.
Adam earned a master's degree in human resources from the Clarkson University School of Business and is certified by the Society of Human Resource Management. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Elmira College.
