Noah is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Boston office and a member of the firm’s Leadership Advisory Services. Specializing in executive assessment and development, he works with boards and senior management to evaluate and enhance the capabilities of leaders and teams. He partners with clients on a range of leadership-focused objectives, from C-suite succession planning and individual coaching to top team effectiveness and leadership model design.

  • Building on his experience as both a strategy consultant and experimental psychologist, Noah blends objective analysis of leadership context with expertise in what influences human behavior. His clients value his empathic style and eclectic perspective.
  • Before joining Spencer Stuart a decade ago, Noah was at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he partnered with senior executives on a diversified set of projects, including organizational design, change management, operational improvement and strategy development.
  • Noah started his career as an experimental psychologist, conducting research into the nature of self-control using a range of methods including quantitative studies, behavioral analysis and brain imaging.
  • During his academic tenure, he was a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research fellow and served as lead investigator and author on multiple publications in top scientific journals, collectively garnering over 2,000 citations and appearing in the popular media.

Noah is a member of the Association for Psychological Science. He received his Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from Yale University and earned an A.B. summa cum laude in cognitive science from Dartmouth College.
