Dimity Hodge leads Spencer Stuart’s Leadership Advisory Services in the Asia Pacific region. Her focus is on leadership and culture assessment for search, internal succession, transition and development. She works with boards and CEOs to evaluate the readiness and capabilities of their executive teams and develop action plans to prepare executives for critical roles. With more than 20 years of consulting and industry experience, Dimity brings expertise in strategic planning, organisational design, assessment, leadership development and culture change to her client work.
Consulting and industry expertise with a global perspective
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Dimity held senior human resources roles at a leading Australian bank, focusing on talent, leadership development, culture and diversity. During this time, she was responsible for all areas of talent, including assessment, succession planning, transition, development and retention.
- Dimity also worked at the Australian Human Rights Commission, partnering with the Sex Discrimination Commissioner and the Age Discrimination Commissioner to engage with corporations across Australia.
- In addition to her work in the financial services industry, Dimity has held senior leadership positions in strategic planning and organisation development in the airline, energy, and consumer products industries and in government. Earlier in her career, she was a senior management consultant in the strategy practice of Andersen Consulting, where she led large strategy and transformational change programs globally.
- Throughout her career, Dimity has worked in the U.K., the U.S., Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Jakarta. She has also lived in the Philippines and Malaysia.
Dimity holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Sydney in arts (psychology) and social studies. She also holds an M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley along with a certificate in executive coaching from Columbia University. Dimity is a board member of UN Women Australia.
